作为MX2.0的升级版，3.0的外形变化算不上多。同样的窄边设计与矮键帽，让其与老版本甚至很不容易分辨。最大的不同可能就属右上角加入的几个快捷按键了，音量大小、静音、WIN锁，虽然按键不多，但CHERRY也终于开始迎合市场了。

侧面，标志性的矮键帽，而且基本上行与行之间并没有设计弧度，类似笔记本键盘的大平面。

背面最大的新意就是这套机翼型防滑脚垫了，背面的贴纸显示是3M出品。脚垫为软性橡胶，面积也足够大，色彩通透，质量非常不错。将这两个脚垫粘在预设好的框架内就完成了。手托接口也是沿用2.0键盘的版本。

钢板对机械键盘能够起到增强手感以及加强整体质量的作用，所以MX3.0加上了钢板结构，也是符合市场规律的行为，否则软塌塌的手感一定会为人所诟病。
