10月26日至28日，WCG2012中国区总决赛在上海光大会展中心进行。其中，CF因在中国WCG2011世界总决赛上成为中国代表队唯一斩获金牌的项目，且中国选手在该项目上实力卓群，极有希望连续第二年为中国队贡献金牌，因而被外界寄予厚望，进军本届中国区总决赛的CF十六强队伍也因此受到关注。

本届WCG中国赛区CF项目分区比赛分别于北京、上海、济南、郑州等九座城市举办，除北京与上海两大重点赛区分别拥有四个与两个名额外，其余七大赛区仅有分赛区冠军得以进军中国区决赛。

征战全国顶级FPS赛事，除了平时扎实的训练与临场状态之外，装备亦相当重要。不少选手都精心挑选自己的制胜利器，其中包括帮助选手在比赛中准确捕获战场信息的耳机装备。而物理5.1声道游戏耳机因为其精准的定位功能，往往成为选手战队的首选。

倾城电竞作为一支CF项目传统强队，顺利出赛WCG2012中国区总决赛，并且在小组赛中遭遇新锐强队modern 18，与这只曾经PK掉IG战队的黑马鏖战至加时赛，最终夺得CF项目四强的出线名额。
