说到i-rocks的鼠标，印象最深的无疑就是炫到极致的幻彩蛹，这套DK套装中的IM5-DK游戏鼠标的出现甚至有点让人始料不及，我们先来看看它的外观：显然从大小来看并不是为RTS专门设计的，整个鼠标的个头适中属于短胖型，又加上人体工学设计，握感方面相当饱满，设计上并不显得修长让人可以一手轻松掌握，握感上还是相当出彩的。

材质方面上盖以及左侧裙都是类肤烤漆，手感相当不错，不过大家注意在这里编辑只描述了左侧裙也就是拇指摆放处，因为这货根本就没有右侧裙，右键的外壳延伸至底盘，这样的设计其实会有一些问题，我们稍后细说。继续往下看鼠标的外观。

滚轮刻度感以及侧键的手感都没的说，挑剔不出什么毛病，不过可惜的是IM5和往常的i-rocks鼠标一样没有驱动，所以侧键的功能就只能是默认的前进/后退，而且比较坑爹的是前一个按键是后退，后侧键是前进，与通常的相反，用起来会略有不适应。

底盘往往能看出一个鼠标的做工如何，在这方面IM5倒是相当给力，底盘采用的是亮面设计，与上盖、侧裙结合地天衣无缝，做工不俗，并且在底盘上有DPI以及USB报告速率的硬件调节按钮，灯光的控制开关也能在这里找到，这一点和幻彩蛹是类似的，不再赘述。

脚贴方面是上下两片弓型特氟龙，不论在硬垫还是布垫上都有着不错的顺滑度。

在这里细说一下刚刚提到的右键设计问题，我们来看看这张IM5与蝰蛇的对比图，不难看出IM5是没有右侧裙的，而由于这个右键的坡面，使用时会很自然将中指、无名指都放在右键上……之后你会发现在按右键时，会有两根手指在操控着……这到底是用中指按右键呢还是无名指按右键呢，在游戏中这将造成右键按下延迟的问题，也希望i-rocks能够略作修改。
